Research Firm Yankee Group Hires Sales Execs

12 Jul, 2007 By: Chris Tribbey

The Yankee Group research firm has added two senior industry sales veterans to its staff, Troy Bryans and Diane Yarrow.

Both will be responsible for sales and project management of key accounts in media and entertainment. Before joining Yankee Group Bryans was VP of business development for an entertainment marketing firm. He has also consulted for Sony, Fox, Warner Bros., Discovery, Universal Music Group, MGM, Disney and CAA.

Yarrow previously was a senior account executive at Jupiter Research, and has worked with several Fortune 500 companies to guide their marketing and technology investments.

Yankee Group aims to help its clients understand consumer behaviors in the areas of broadband entertainment, digital delivery, IPTV, mobile advertising, gaming and music, online activity and portable entertainment.

“The media and entertainment landscape is on the cusp of major disruption as ubiquitous connectivity takes hold, causing the lines between content creators and owners to blur as music, movies and games become ‘open' or available anywhere on any device,” said Emily Nagle Green, Yankee Group president and CEO. “As a result, marketing conditions for media and entertainment companies are favorable if they can spot the right opportunities at the right time.

“Troy and Diane are strong talents who can help companies understand where to start, and I am pleased to welcome them both to our team.”
