Rentrak Corp. April 24 announced the inclusion of six new clients to its expanding video-on-demand (VOD) data-tracking service.

The Portland, Ore.-based media-measurement company said fuse, Mag Rack, NBC Universal, Oxygen, Sportskool and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) have joined 22 other content subscribers to track daily VOD usage of their programming across multiple delivery channels, including cable operators Bresnan Communications, Comcast, Cablevision, Charter and Insight Communications.

“Consistent and timely usage measurement is a key element for the evolution of the on-demand platform,” said Jean-Briac Perrette, SVP of New Media and CFO for NBC Universal Cable. “NBC Universal's agreement with Rentrak will help us measure our VOD performance and ensure we're offering the best programming to help satisfy and attract customers and advertisers to our diverse on demand offerings.”
