Rentrak Corp. has added six entertainment clients to its growing on-demand database. The Portland, Ore.-based media measurement company cited CMT, Hallmark Channel (content from Crown Media library), Logo, Playboy TV, TV Guide Spot and Warner Home Video On Demand as new content providers to a group of 19 content-view business subscribers.
Subscribers have access to varied video-on-demand (VOD) data, including total orders, unique set top box orders, total minutes viewed and scope of VOD enabled universe. The data also includes performance by title, audience sharing, weekly top titles and competitive performance.
Rentrak's five participating cable companies, including Bresnan Communications, Comcast Corp., Cablevision, Charter Communications and Insight Communications, generate the data.
These cable companies represent about 50 percent of all VOD enabled homes in the U.S., according to Rentrak.
