QVC.com Sees Value of Alliance

QVC and Alliance Entertainment Corp. have struck a deal that will see Alliance the primary provider of CDs, cassettes, VHS and DVDs for QVC.com.

QVC uses CommerceHub's ProductMaster, which will now include Alliance's product database, to support QVC.com's music and video retail categories. In addition, CommerceHub, a provider of hosted supplier integration and order management services for multi channel retailers, will provide QVC with supplier management tools and manage order communication with Alliance.

Alliance Entertainment Corp. (aent.com) provides business-to-business infrastructure services to facilitate commerce in the home entertainment product marketplace. Through its Information Services Group, the company offers product inventory including CDs, cassettes, DVDs, videos, video games and related merchandise; e-commerce fulfillment capabilities; and technology and support services.
