Prange Named Editor of ‘Home Media Retailing'

Stephanie Prange has been named editor of Home Media Retailing, publisher Don Rosenberg announced.

Prange has been covering the home entertainment industry for 11 years, joining the publication in 1993 when it was Video Store Magazine. She has held a number of editorial positions at the magazine, including her most recent as executive editor, which she assumed in November 2000.

As editor, Prange will direct day-to-day news reporting activities at Home Media Retailing and expand the magazine's new editorial content initiatives. She continues to report to Kurt Indvik, editor-in-chief.

“Stephanie has great news sense and is a strong editor. This promotion recognizes those qualities as well as her commitment to the publication and the home entertainment industry. In her new role, she will work continually to improve Home Media Retailing's quality and depth of news coverage and new editorial initiatives,” Indvik said.

In other editorial staff announcements, Angelique Flores has been named assistant managing editor, reporting to Prange, assisting in the weekly packaging of the news pages of the magazine. She joined the staff in 2004 as copy editor. Melbert Sebayan has joined HMR as graphic designer, reporting to art director Daniela Huber-Shelton. And Lyndsey Shinoda, assistant editor, is moving into the magazine's business side as a project manager.
