PorchLight Gets 'Loopidoo'

4 Feb, 2008 By: Chris Tribbey

PorchLight Home Entertainment has nailed down the domestic DVD rights to a new children's program from London-based distributor Cake Distribution.

“Loopdidoo” is an animated show, for 3- to 5-year-olds, that follows an overly enthusiastic dog and his owner during their day-to-day adventures. The series is set to air this spring in the United States on Animania, the children's channel from the Voom HD networks.

“The animated ‘Loopdidoo' program is as charming and whimsical as its name,” said Brenda Bisner, VP of acquisitions for children's programming at PorchLight Entertainment. “Already a hit in Europe, we feel the appeal for preschoolers will be extremely strong here in the United States as well.”

“As we represent worldwide rights for ‘Loopdidoo,' we are extremely pleased to partner with a company of the stature of PorchLight Home Entertainment in the United States for DVD distribution,” said Cake managing director Edward Galton.
