Whose opinion do the studios cherish most?

Well the fans' of course.

A new fan survey released Jan. 31 by TrustedOpinion.com rates the top movies of 2007, both overall and by the gender of the 500,000 respondents.

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, Spider-Man 3, Shrek the Third, Ghost Rider and Bridge to Terabithia were the top five movies among all respondents, followed by Transformers, Life Free or Die Hard, Ratatouille, Next and The Bourne Ultimatum.

Freedom Writers, American Gangster, I Am Legend, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End and High School Musical 2 were the top five films among women under 34. The Bourne Ultimatum, Hitman, Live Free or Die Hard, In the Land of Women and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End were the top five for men under 34.
