Paramount Home Entertainment and Hasbro Entertainment are having some fun with video this spring.
The supplier is releasing four new toy-themed releases to the direct-to-video market, including the animated-feature debuts for Hasbro's popular nursery-school toys The Weebles, the ubiquitous Candy Land board game and the Duel Masters trading-card game.
Duel Masters: The Good, The Bad and The Bolshack streets Jan. 25 on DVD ($19.99) and VHS ($9.95).
The Weebles start their video adventures with the Feb. 22 release of Weebles: Welcome to Weebleville on DVD ($14.99) and VHS ($9.95). Kids will get to visit Candy Land via video March 8 with Candy Land: The Great Lollipop Adventure arriving on DVD ($16.99) and VHS ($9.95).
Paramount also bows two new titles based on Hasbro's Transformers action figures, with Transformers Energon: Omega Supreme and Transformers Energon: Shockblast unleashed both streeting Feb. 22 on DVD ($16.99 each) and VHS ($9.95 each).
