Oscilloscope Offers DVD Subscription Service

Oscilloscope Laboratories, the film distribution company founded by the Beastie Boys’ Adam Yauch, is offering the chance to acquire the next 10 Oscilloscope DVDs about a week before each release’s street date for a one-time fee of $150.

Additionally, the company will allow subscribers to buy previously released Oscilloscope DVDs at half price.

“There's a real void in the marketplace since Columbia Record club is no longer active, so we're hoping to hire a staff of tens of thousands to call our valuable membership over and over again and harass them until they cry,” jokes Yauch.

Previous Oscilloscope titles include Wendy and Lucy, Frontrunners and The Messenger. Its next titles are Beautiful Losers (Dec. 8) and No Impact Man (Jan. 19).
