SAN DIEGO — Comedian Robert Smigel is following up his Best of Triumph the Insult Comic Dog DVD with a compilation of his hilarious sketches from “Saturday Night Live.”

The Best of Saturday TV Funhouse, due Oct. 24 from Universal Studios Home Entertainment, includes some of the most popular moments from the “SNL” anthology segment — written, directed and produced by Smigel — including “The X-Presidents” and “Fun With Real Audio.” The program, which aired this past spring, is hosted by Ace and Gary, otherwise known as “The Ambiguously Gay Duo.”

The animated pair are voiced by Steve Carell and Stephen Colbert.

Smigel himself was on hand at Comic-Con to promote the DVD.

Bonus features include more than an hour of additional cartoons, some of which have never before aired on television, and commentaries from Smigel, the cast and crew, and some of the celebrities who have been parodied.

Orders for the $19.98 DVD are due Sept. 26.
