Nintendo Will Sell Game Boy Advance Games Online

Nintendo Co. will begin selling new titles for its Game Boy Advance portable console through the Internet, says Bloomberg News from a Nikkei English News report citing company sources.

Nintendo will package its new golf game with an adapter that can link the console to an Internet-compatible cellular phone, Bloomberg reported Nikkei also said.

Users will be able to input information into the game software and send game results to friends by connecting to Nintendo's server, coording to Nikkei.

Nintendo hopes to expand the portable video game market by selling titles over the Internet to older players, like college students, Nikkei added.

Game Boy Advance went on sale last month.
