Kelly Nielsen has been promoted to SVP of worldwide creative advertising at Sony Pictures Home Entertainment, reporting to senior EVP of worldwide marketing Lexine Wong.
Nielsen had been VP of worldwide creative advertising. She will continue to work closely with the domestic and international marketing groups and manage the division's creative service groups that handle trade and consumer advertising campaigns, including print, broadcast, radio and outdoor.
Nielsen also will oversee all A/V production needs and manage the design and production of DVD, Blu-ray Disc and UMD packaging, POP materials and all other ancillary marketing materials.
Nielsen has been instrumental in the creative development of marketing materials for such big Sony campaigns as those for Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2, Hitch and Capote; she is currently working on creative campaigns for Click, The Da Vinci Code, Monster House and Casino Royale, as well as branding for Blu-ray releases and the company's various other digital initiatives.
