Comcast Rolling Out 2-Gigabit Broadband Service

Comcast April 2 announced it would begin next month offering ultra-high-speed broadband service — dubbed Gigabit Pro — to 1.5 million customers in Atlanta — the fastest residential Internet service in the country. Cost for the 2-gigabit-per-second service to be delivered via a fiber-to-the-home system was not disclosed.
