Media giant News Corp. Nov. 17 named 18-year Fox Entertainment Group veteran Peter Levinsohn president of Fox Interactive Media, replacing cousin Ross Levinsohn, who resigned.
Peter Levinsohn has been president of digital media at Fox Entertainment since 2004 where he headed Fox's development of the video-on-demand (VOD) business and electronic sell-through for film and television product, including recent deals with iTunes, Amazon, AOL, MSN, MovieLink, and CinemaNow.
The move is effective Nov. 27.
