New Line Home Entertainment has tapped Kevin Kasha for the new position of SVP, acquisitions and programming, marking Kasha's return to the company after a six-year stint at Miramax.
Kasha, who will report to New Line Home Entertainment president and COO Stephen Einhorn, will be responsible for acquiring feature films and nontheatrical programs for New Line distribution.
“Kevin's extensive sales, marketing and industry experience gives him tremendous insight into a prospective acquisition's distribution potential,” Einhorn said. “In addition, Kevin has a terrific track record for identifying and implementing new and creative programming opportunities.”
Kasha's return to New Line follows a six-year tenure as EVP of Miramax Home Entertainment.
