9 Aug, 2007 By: Chris Tribbey

Arts Alliance America has announced four new hires and one promotion.

“This is an exciting time for the company, and for the entertainment industry as a whole,” said Arts Alliance president Joe Amodei. “With the support of our parent company, we have geared up for the inevitable digital evolution of home entertainment while continuing to acquire and co-produce independent films for theater goers.”

Tom Mack, former national accounts manager for Warner Home Video, comes aboard as director of national accounts; Michael Reff, previously of Topics Entertainment and MGM/UA, is the new director of sales in the western United States; Lucille Deane has been named marketing director, a position she held with Koch Vision and Koch Lorber; and Kimberly Sciallo takes on the newly created role of sports marketing director. Sciallo was sports marketing advisor for CBS affiliate The Texas Rangers Radio Network. James Puleo, who has been with Arts Alliance since 2003, when it was Hart Sharp Video, has been promoted to product and design manager.

“These new hires and promotions reinforce our commitment and strength as we move into the fourth quarter 2007 and into 2008,” Amodei said.
