NCircle DVDs Get Procter & Gamble Push

NCircle Entertainment July 21 said two new “Will & Dewitt” children's DVDs, Frog-tastic Family Fun and My BFF (Best Frog Friend), will get national retail exposure through a cross-promotion with Procter & Gamble (P&G).

The two DVDs, which street Aug. 26 for $11.99 each, are based on the popular “Will & Dewitt” television series — about a boy (Will) and his trusty friend (Dewitt) who morphs as a frog — that currently airs on The CW4Kids programming block.

Frog-tastic features six episodes, including “Double Frog Dare”; “Wreckfest in Bed”; “Trading Pluses”; “I Thank, Therefore I Am”; “No Cause for Alarm” and “Where's There's a Will There's a Wedding.”

My BFF also features six episodes, including “My Frog Lips are Sealed,” “Stage Coached,” “Fair Factor,” “Draw,” “Will Crafted Gift” and “Reading Railroad.”

Separately, Cookie Jar Entertainment, which produces and markets children's entertainment brands, optioned the use of the frog from P&G's Kandoo toddler personal care brand to appear in the “Will & Dewitt” series.

As a result, NCircle and P&G will share retail shelf space at select grocery store chains in the United States. Each “Will & Dewitt” DVD will include a catalog featuring NCircle DVDs and $1 off coupon for P&G Kandoo products.

“This opportunity illustrates [our] ongoing objective to create innovative ways to uniquely position home entertainment well at retail,” said Kelly McGee, VP of sales with NCircle.
