National Lampoon Brings Laughs to Joost

National Lampoon Inc. is joining Internet TV service Joost to launch a National Lampoon channel.

All of National Lampoon's latest programming will be available on the Joost channel, including webisodes, SpinCycle “mashimations” and the Fat Guy Nation series.

“We are excited to launch the National Lampoon channel on Joost, as our partnership with this new and innovative service provides another destination for our fans worldwide to interact with our programming,” said National Lampoon CEO Daniel Laikin. “We increasingly have found that more and more of our fans reach us through the Internet, and providing a premier viewing destination like Joost with our content is a natural way for us to extend the reach of our brand.”

Joost EVP of content strategy and acquisitions Yvette Alberdingk Thijm said: “With Joost, people have the opportunity to find, interact and enjoy high-quality programming in every category, and enhancing our comedy offering is one of our key priorities. With the National Lampoon channel, people everywhere have access to this popular, world-renowned comedy whenever they want it.”
