Starz Encore Group and N2 Broadband, Inc. have signed an agreement to use N2 Broadband's MediaPath technology to deliver Starz On Demand movies to cable television operators across the United States.Starz Encore will use the MediaPath platform for direct delivery of its subscription video-on-demand (SVOD) content to multiple system operator (MSO) cable partners. Starz Encore expects to deploy the MediaPath technology for Starz On Demand later this year."In the rapidly evolving world of 'cable on demand,' N2 Broadband is at the leading edge of delivering SVOD programming from the content provider, like Starz Encore, to the distributor, our MSO partners," said John Beyler, VP of technology at Starz Encore.
