MySpace Launches Program With Exclusive Music Video Content4 Dec, 2007 By: Angelique Flores
MySpace has launched a music program for artists to create and distribute exclusive video content and audio tracks.
MySpace Transmissions takes the site's community behind the scenes in the recording studio with a top artist for a private recording session for MySpace and also shoots an exclusive video Q&A with the artist.
The new program debuts with Grammy-nominated artist James Blunt, who recorded five tracks exclusively for MySpace and participated in a video Q&A available in the MySpace Transmission profile and on MySpaceTV. Users can buy the tracks at www.myspace.com/transmissions.
All the content from MySpace Transmissions will be archived and available on demand on the MySpace Transmission profile and on MySpaceTV. Users will be able to add the content to their profiles and virally share the artists' videos throughout the network.
More than 6 million major, indie and unsigned artists use MySpace Music to post profiles, communicate and connect with fans.
