Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA) and MTV are making programming from the cable channel available on UMD, for use with Sony's PlayStation Portable (PSP) game system.

Beavis & Butt-head: The Mike Judge Collection Vol. 2 and Vol. 3; Jackass Vol. 2 and Vol. 3; Wildboyz Vol. 1 and Vol. 2; Viva La Bam Vol. 2, Vol. 3 and Vol. 4; and Aeon Flux: The Complete Animated Collection (two-disc set) hit UMD Jan. 22 at $14.99 each. Sony claims an install base of more than 10 million PSP users in North America, with 1.4 million units sold over the holiday season.

“This collaboration with MTV is a key first step in meeting the needs of our consumers, who are utilizing PSP as a video player more than ever and are thirsting for more content, particularly short-form video,” said Phil Rosenberg, SVP of sales and business development for SCEA.
