Movielink Partners With Feedroom.com

Studio video-on-demand joint venture Movielink.com has launched a co- branded version of its service with Internet video news and entertainment broadcaster The FeedRoom to offer viewers film previews and access to Movielink downloads.

Movielink access will be prominently displayed and accessible from all of The FeedRoom's entertainment pages. Recent releases available for download through Movielink include 8 Mile, Red Dragon and Two Weeks Notice, while the site also offers popular catalog titles like As Good As It Gets, and Braveheart, Taxi Driver, Days of Wine and Roses, and Charade.

"The launch of the co-branded service with The FeedRoom represents another step forward in our continuing plan to work with a select group of affiliates to offer their customers a variety of top movies," said Movielink VP, Business Development ,Tyler Goldman.

"FeedRoom viewers devour the latest news about movies, music, and television. Now they'll be able to watch the actual Hollywood movies, thanks to our relationship with Movielink," said FeedRoom CEO Jon Klein.

To access the co-branded service, consumers can go to www.FeedRoom.com and select links on the 'Entertainment' and 'Movies' pages. Users will be directed to the Movielink/FeedRoom home page to browse through movie categories such as 'New Releases' and 'Top Downloads', preview movies at no charge, and download and view their favorite movies. Movielink users are not forced to join, subscribe, or pay any membership fees, they pay only for the films they choose to view.

To use Movielink, customers register and pay with a credit card. After downloading movies, they are able to store movies for up to 30 days or until the window ends, whichever comes first. Once play is initiated, they can watch a movie as many times as they would like in a 24-hour period. Downloads prices range between $2.95 and $4.99.
