Movielink Adds Asian-Film Distributor

Movie download Web site Movielink has expanded its library of Asian films with a distribution deal with Tai Seng Entertainment.

Movielink will add more than 25 English-subtitled Asian films from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, China and Korea in genres including horror, suspense, comedy, drama, romance, action and martial arts to its foreign-film category.

"Tai Seng Entertainment is a leading film distributor providing Movielink with some of the most popular and unique Asian films to date,” said Jessica Algazi, Movielink VP of content. "We are committed to continually expanding our content offerings and are pleased to offer our customers more of the best foreign films available from Asia.

Movielink customers can now download popular and cult classic Asian films such as Big Spender, Martial Art Master Wong Fei Hung, Dance of a Dream, The Foul King, Tai Chi Fist and Women on the Run.

“Tai Seng Entertainment is very excited to offer our content to Movielink consumers,” said Tai Seng Entertainment GM Helen Soo. “Movielink enables us to reach a broader audience in the United States and to offer our content for download in a legal, consumer-friendly environment.”

Movielink is available to U.S. Internet users with broadband connections and PCs. Downloads range between $1.99 and $4.99.
