The Jim Henson Company has made The Dark Crystal and Labyrinth available for purchase and download from the iTunes store beginning March 3.
The fantasy films from the 1980s are the first Henson films offered digitally. The Jim Henson Company has partnered with digital distributor New Video to offer the films. Cost per movie is $9.99.
“Both Labyrinth and The Dark Crystal have taken their place as honored and respected must-see fantasy classics, and we are thrilled to offer them on iTunes.” said Nicole Goldman, VP of marketing and publicity for The Jim Henson Company.
Two Jim Henson Company-produced TV shows debuted on iTunes in January — “Fraggle Rock” and “Farscape.”
