MobiTV Says It Hits 4M Subs

Mobile content provider MobiTV said it has surpassed 4 million subscribers.

The mobile service launched in 2003, offering television programming to carrier networks such as Sprint, AT&T Wireless, Alltel, Telus, Rogers and Bell Mobility. MobiTV has more than 50 channels available in the United States, including ESPN, NBC, Disney Channel and A&E Networks.

“The company continues to accelerate its growth trajectory, adding another million subscribers in the past 10 months,” said Charlie Nooney, chairman and CEO of MobiTV.
