Microsoft Corp. has reorganized the top of its interactive entertainment business, which oversees the Xbox 360.
Jeff Bell, VP of global marketing, is leaving at the end of summer. Shane Kim will undertake the new role of VP of strategy and business development, and Phil Spencer, who's been with Microsoft's Game Studios for six years, takes on worldwide first-party development and publishing efforts.
“We're strategically positioning the leadership team to drive every aspect of the Xbox business to new heights,” said Don Mattrick, SVP of the interactive entertainment business. “I firmly believe that Microsoft will lead the next great innovations in games and entertainment. Today's organizational announcements align us to accelerate this expansive growth.”
