MGM Raises Cancer Awareness with ‘Barbershop 2' Promotion

MGM will open the doors to Barbershop 2: Back in Business by offering MGM goody bags to barbers who participate in a program to raise awareness of prostate cancer in the African-American and Latino communities. Hundreds of barbers nationwide are expected to take hospital-provided seminars, then pass information to their customers and encourage them to get screened by March 1. Barbershop 2 opens in theaters Feb. 6. MGM repriced the Barbershop DVD at $14.95 Jan. 13.
