Meredith Launches Broadband Channel

Media and marketing company Meredith Corp. has launched its first broadband network, Better.tv, offering original video content and programming based on the assets from Meredith's portfolio of magazines, television stations, books, Web sites and live events.

Better.tv features more than 20 channels of video information covering a comprehensive range of topics, including food, family, home, style, remodeling, entertainment, relationships, fitness and health. Online programs range from two to 30 minutes.

Meredith magazine properties include Better Homes and Gardens, Ladies' Home Journal, More, Family Circle, and Parents and Fitness.

Better.tv also is available on Meredith's flagship Web site, BHG.com. Meredith's media properties reach more than 75 million women, and its Web sites reach an audience of 10 million unique users, according to the company.
