Sony Pictures Home Entertainment (SPHE) is rolling out its second simultaneous DVD and UMD (Universal Media Disc) release with the Will Smith comedy Hitch, which streets June 14 for $28.95 for both formats.
The VHS is priced for rental. Hitch joins SPHE's House of Flying Daggers (street April 19) as titles released simultaneously to DVD and UMD, the mini-disc format for use in Sony Electronics PlayStation Portable. DVD extras on Hitch include deleted scenes, a blooper reel, five behind-the-scenes featurettes and the “I Thing” music video from Amerie.
Hitch has earned $166 million in theaters since its Feb. 11 opening.
