SAN DIEGO — The unexpected appearance of Lost cast member Harold Perrineau (who plays the character Michael, last seen in season two) and the announcement his character would return were big news at the “Lost” panel at San Diego Comic-Con International 2007 July 26.

Additionally, Walt Disney Studios Home Entertainment representatives confirmed a Blu-ray Disc version of the third season would be available day-and-date with the Dec. 11 DVD set.

No price or bonus features for the Blu-ray set were immediately available, however a studio representative said an official announcement was in the works.

Announced DVD features include such featurettes as “The World of Others,” “Lost In One Day,” “Lost On Location,” “The Lost Book Club” and “Lost Flashbacks,” plus deleted scenes, bloopers and commentaries.
