Lionsgate Slashes Fiscal-Year Loss

Strong catalog sales, television license fees and TV DVD sales combined to offset an underperforming theatrical slate as Lionsgate June 1 reported a net loss of $19.5 million for the fiscal year (ended March 31), compared with a net loss of $178.5 million during the prior-year period.
