Lions Gate Hires ‘Barbie' Marketer

Lions Gate Home Entertainment (LGHE) has hired Anne Parducci, former SVP of business development at Mattel, as EVP of marketing, citing her “knowledge of the retail space” and strategic-thinking capability.

Parducci, who is assuming a vacant position at Lions Gate, will oversee all marketing efforts on new and catalog video product in addition to building brand awareness among consumers for the company's home entertainment and family home entertainment (FHE) units.

A 14-year veteran at Mattel, Parducci's responsibilities included overseeing marketing efforts on the Barbie and Polly Pocket brands. She reports to Glenn Ross, president of FHE, in Santa Monica, Calif.
