Koch Goes Down Under

12 Apr, 2006 By: Jessica Wolf

Koch Vision has a new DVD deal from down under.

The indie supplier has acquired the U.S. DVD release rights to top-rated Australian series “McLeod's Daughters” from production company Southern Star International.

The series has been on Aussie TV since 2001 and is currently Australia's No. 1 local drama series.

The show airs in America on the WE: Women's Entertainment channel. Since its premiere in October 2004, it has been a breakout hit for the network and continues to anchor their Saturday night lineup.

“We are pleased to be partnering with Southern Star to bring this highly popular TV series onto DVD,” said Koch president, Michael Rosenberg. “It's large, loyal, and expanding following in the U.S. translates into a highly collectible audience for the DVD. McLeod's Daughters is also a perfect fit with our other foreign, English-language titles in the Koch Vision catalog.”
