Key Art Awards Include Video Noms

The Hollywood Reporter's 33rd Annual Key Art Awards will honor movie advertising at a show April 30 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, Calif., hosted by actor and comedian Rob Schneider.

Among the nominees are some categories for home entertainment. Nominees for DVD/VHS packaging include Geneon Entertainment's The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment's Punch-Drunk Love, New Line Home Entertainment's The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers special extended DVD edition, Universal Studios Home Video's Scarface anniversary edition gift box and Fox Home Entertainment's Alien Quadrilogy international edition.

Nominees for special recognition in home entertainment advertising are the Buena Vista Home Entertainment's (BVHE) Finding Nemo standee and outdoor ad campaign, Fox's Daredevil stare ad, the Two Towers DVD outdoor advertising campaign and Warner Home Video's Charlie: The Life and Art of Charles Chaplin.

Nominees for consumer TV spots 30 seconds or less are MGM Home Entertainment's The Billy Wilder Collection, Universal's Pay-Per-View Horror Halloween for Psycho and The Birds, Universal's Scarface, and BVHE's Finding Nemo and Chicago. Nominees for consumer TV spots of more than 30 seconds are BVHE's The Lion King special edition and Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Lions Gate Home Entertainment's Searching for Debra Winger, the pre-street-date teaser for Paramount Home Entertainment's The Complete Adventures of Indiana Jones and Fox's 28 Days Later.
