As part of the newly branded “Kids Movie Collection” series of full-length original films, Warner Home Video is releasing Kangaroo Jack G'Day U.S.A.!, a full-length animated feature film straight to video Nov. 16 (prebook Oct. 19) at $24.98 on DVD and $14.94 on VHS.
More than 50 minutes of DVD extras include a 10-minute documentary on kangaroos and the Australian outback, produced by National Geographic; an interactive challenge; a Kangaroo rap sequence; a featurette on how to draw a kangaroo by one of the film's animators; and trailers.
The animated sequel to the 2003 comedy, Kangaroo Jack, is written by Andrew and Adam Scheinman, the team behind the original theatrical release, which grossed $66.7 million at the box office and sold more than 3.8 million videos. Kangaroo Jack G'Day U.S.A.! follows the crazy caper down under where poachers kidnap and threaten Jack. His mates, Louis, Charlie and Jessie, follow Jack and his captors to Las Vegas, where they find themselves entangled in a jewel heist.
