Kaczmarek to Head Echo Bridge Digital Distribution

Echo Bridge Entertainment has appointed Kyle A. Kaczmarek to the new position of head of digital distribution. With its recent acquisition of Alliance Atlantis International Distribution Ltd., Echo Bridge added more than 5,500 hours of programming to its catalog, creating a combined portfolio of over 11,000 titles.

“Kyle is a proven professional with an outstanding record of harnessing new platforms to distribute programming to an ever-growing audience,” said Michael Rosenblatt, chairman, president and CEO of Echo Bridge. “As we look to expand the market for our vast library, he brings the ideal combination of talent and experience to tap into the exploding array of digital distribution outlets.”

In his new role, Kaczmarek will build up Echo Bridge Entertainment's North American digital distribution operation, including the following platforms: video-on-demand (VOD), pay per view (PPV), Internet VOD, electronic sellthrough, subscription VOD, broadband VOD and non-threatrical (hotel/motel, airlines, cruise ships, and colleges/universities, etc.).

Working in digital media for nearly nine years at Warner Bros., Kaczmarek helped build the company's digital distribution operation to more than $100 million a year in the United States and Canada.
