The iPod generation is getting its MTV.

Apple has added MTV Networks to its ever-growing catalog of iTunes video providers.

Programs from MTV, MTV2, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon and The N are now available for download from the digital music site. Selections from hit shows like “Punk'd,” “South Park,” “Dora the Explorer,” “SpongeBob SquarePants” and “Laguna Beach” among others are online for the taking at iTunes for $1.99 per episode.

Nickelodeon's “Dora the Explorer” is the first preschool program to be available via iTunes. Comedy Central's “Stand Up” is the first stand-up comedy offering. MTV's “Laguna Beach” and “Real World/Road Rules Challenge: Gauntlet 2” mark the iTunes debut of reality programming.
