<I>Riddick</I> Rocks DVD Nov. 16

Vin Diesel's sci-fi alter ego is back on store shelves Nov. 16 when The Chronicles of Riddick streets on VHS and a DVD with a playable demo of a Riddick Xbox game.The $57.6 million 2004 prequel to 2000's sci-fi flick Pitch Black prebooks Oct. 5 from Universal Studios Home Video.

Three versions of the DVD are available at $29.98 each: the full-frame or widescreen ‘PG-13' versions and the unrated director's cut with 14 minutes of never-before-seen footage and commentary.

Extras on all three DVDs will include a fully playable level of the Xbox video game The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape From Butcher Bay (available now); a behind-the-scenes guided tour and interactive 360-degree views of the film sets; an interactive guide on the sci-fi world of the film; and making-of footage of some of the film's most elaborate visual effects.
