5 Feb, 2007 By: Erik Gruenwedel

Wall Street Warriors is among Infinity Entertainment's first releases.

Infinity Resources, a direct marketer of large volume DVD and CD product, has created a retail distribution arm, Infinity Entertainment, headed by industry veteran Rick Buehler.

Buehler, who was VP of sales for Visual Entertainment, a unit of Universal Music & Video Distribution, has been named VP of sales and acquisitions.

Itasca, Ill.-based Infinity, which owns retailer DVD Planet, DeepDiscountDVD.com and Critic's Choice Video & DVD, among 10 properties, would focus on distribution of eight-to-10 titles monthly of independent films, TV, documentaries, anime and music.

Initial DVD releases slated for April 24 include season one of “Wall Street Warriors” and “Dr. Danger” ($29.99 each) from the INHD network. Future series releases include “Three Sheets,” “Beer Nutz” and “After Hours with Daniel.”

Other titles include box sets of “The Real McCoys” and “Bozo the Clown” from Falcon Picture Group and anime titles from Bandai Entertainment.
