Global Internet network Terra Lycos has cut deals with IFILM.com and Listen, com to expand its online entertainment offerings, targeting broadband users with more streaming movies and music.

"As Hollywood continues to look for innovative ways to reach more audiences on the Web, sites like Lycos Entertainment stand out as a place where movie marketers can present content to generate buzz among movie fans," said Kevin Wendle, CEO of IFILM. "We're very excited to be offering our IFILM content on Lycos Entertainment. The power of Terra Lycos is its global reach and the quality of the movie audience it attracts."

The new offerings target broadband users with more than 10,000 albums from BMG, Sony Music Entertainment, EMI Recorded Music and Warner Music Group and IFILM's movie trailers and clips, including reviews and background information on upcoming releases and fans' favorite films.

The new offerings are part of Lycos' effort to shift from free to subscription content.
