16 Aug, 2004 By: Jessica Wolf

Fahrenheit 9/11 will arrive on video Oct. 5 from Columbia TriStar Home Entertainment, loaded with plenty of politically charged DVD extras.

The DVD, priced at $28.95, will include three deleted scenes, including “Homeland Security,” Miami Style” and “Outside Abu Ghraib Prison” as well as a featurette on the hype surrounding the film's release; an extended interview with Abdul Henderson (the marine sergeant who accompanied Moore during parts of filming); footage of Lila Lipscomb (the grieving mother from the film) at the Washington, D.C., premiere; a featurette “Arab-American Comedians: Their Acts and Experiences After 9/11;” Condoleezza Rice's 9/11 Commission testimony; President Bush's Rose Garden press briefing after his appearance before the 9/11 commission; an eyewitness account from Samara, Iraq, and a montage titled “The People of Iraq on the Eve of Invasion.”
