'HMR' to Go Daily on Web

Home Media Retailing in February will begin producing a daily e-mail news update, HMR Daily.

Each morning, HMR Daily readers will get a summary of the previous day's top stories in home entertainment, along with links to more complete coverage, commentary, industry resources, reader polls and more at www.HomeMediaRetailing.com.

“We're covering developing news stories in home entertainment on a daily, even hourly, basis on our Web site,” said Don Rosenberg, publisher of Home Media Retailing. “It's important that we serve news to our readers in a manner that's most effective and convenient.”

Home Media Retailing's weekly magazine also will be delivered via e-mail in a new, fully interactive digital format. The digital version of Home Media Retailing is a complete presentation of each page of the weekly magazine, with interactive features that allow readers to jump from one page to another and click on stories of interest in the table of contents, among other features. Readers also can print out a copy of the digital version.

“The digital version allows [readers] to receive and read the magazine wherever they are,” Rosenberg said.
