HBO Programming Reportedly to Hit iTunes

12 May, 2008 By: Chris Tribbey

News outlet Portfolio reported that Time Warner-owned HBO will be the latest content owner to have its offerings on Apple's iTunes.

Under the agreement, which neither HBO nor Apple has confirmed, episodes and movies from HBO would be made available starting later this month, and at variable prices above what Apple currently charges for most catalogue episodic content, Portfolio reported.

Apple and the studios announced May 1 that new releases would be available day-and-date with the DVD release for $14.99 each.
