Hastings Entertainment president and CEO John H. Marmaduke and Netflix chief content officer Ted Sarandos will give keynote addresses at packaged media supply chain conference “The Future of Packaged Media ’09.” The two-day summit takes place Feb. 3-4 at the Hilton Los Angeles in Universal City, Calif.
Sarandos keynotes the morning of opening day, Feb. 3, and Marmaduke will speak mid-morning Feb. 4. Marmaduke’s speech is titled “How a Leading Entertainment Specialist Is Maintaining Its Commitment to, and Maximizing Sales and Rentals of, Packaged Entertainment,” while Sarandos’ is “The Leading Online Video Rental Service Speaks to Its Continuing Support for DVD and the Importance of Blu-ray Discs to Our Industry’s Future.”
The conference is produced by the Content Delivery and Storage Association (CDSA), Entertainment Merchants Association (EMA), and MEDIA-TECH Association (MTA).
