'Grinch' Video Fever Grips Hollywood

The City of Los Angeles has declared Tuesday, Nov. 20, "Grinch Day" to coincide with the video and DVD release of Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas.

The town's new Hollywood & Highland entertainment complex will be turned into a Whoville winter wonderland, complete with a 50-foot tall "Grinchmas" treelighting ceremony.

Grinch cast members will attend festivities onNov. 20, which kicks off the beginning of a national 17-"The Grinch's Heart Just Got Bigger/Toys for Tots" charity campaign to collectunwrapped toys for children in need. Universal Studios Home Video will match the quantity of toys collected at events in each city to donate to children and families in New York and Washington, D.C. affected by the recentevents.

Grinch cast members Jeffrey Tambor (Mayor Who), Taylor Momsen (Cindy Lou-Who), Clint Howard (Who-bris), Josh Ryan Evans (Young Grinch), Academy Award-winning make-up artist Rick Baker and Max the dog will be among special guests appearing at the event to light the "Grinchmas" tree and send off the giant Toys for Tots/Grinch semi-truck across the country to collect toys for needy children.
