GoVideo DVD Player Enables Music Downloads

GoVideo, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based manufacturer of electronics products and systems including a DVD/VCR that allows you to transfer VHS recordings onto DVD, has unveiled a DVD player that allows you to download music from the Internet.

Under an agreement with the Rhapsody music service, the new GoVideo networked DVD player can access a music library of more than 650,000 songs, which can be purchased individually for 79 cents per song and played on TV or home entertainment theater system.

The music service is available separately from parent RealNetworks for $9.95 per month.
