Global Media Awards at CES12 Jun, 2008 By: Chris Tribbey
The Consumer Electronics Association (CES) and the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) will partner together to deliver a Global Media Awards program at the 2009 International CES event in Las Vegas Jan. 8-11.
“The International CES is the global intersection of digital entertainment and technology,” said CEA president and CEO Gary Shapiro. “The companies responsible for bringing new digital media and content to consumers around the world deserve special recognition and the International CES is the perfect venue for this new awards program. We're thrilled to partner with NATAS to bring this new collaboration to the CES show floor.”
“The academy is proud to extend and deepen its relationship with the single most important convocation of international media professionals by jointly staging this prestigious recognition on the opening night of the CES tradeshow,” said NATAS President and CEO Peter O. Price.
