Fox Flavors Film Promotion With Flowers

Ahhh, Valentine's Day. On the special day when young lovers' thoughts turn to stolen kisses, chocolate and flowers, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment hopes they quickly turn to romantic DVDs, too.

To promote romance on video, Fox is offering $5-off coupons for 1800Flowers.com to buyers of Fox's Valentine's Day-promoted titles on VHS and DVD, which streeted Jan. 14: Moulin Rouge, Ever After, Hope Floats, Never Been Kissed, One Fine Day, A Walk in the Clouds, Someone Like You, Here on Earth, Romeo + Juliet and Where the Heart Is.

Some of the titles carry on-pack stickers advertising the promotion.

Promotional Partner 1800Flowers.com is hosting an online sweepstakes, where consumers submit their favorite Valentine's Day greeting for a chance to win prizes, including a 53-inch big-screen TV and a DVD player from Pioneer as well as copies of the 10 titles in the Fox promotion. Daily prizes include giveaways of Moulin Rouge and Someone Like You.

Valentine's Day crosspromotional booklets are being included in 1800Flower.com floral deliveries between Jan. 14 and Feb. 13.
