'Family Guy' Mobile Game App Offers Sweepstakes

18 Jun, 2014 By: Chris Tribbey

Fox’s popular mobile gaming app Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff is offering fans of the long-running animated series a unique sweepstakes: the chance to become a playable character in the game.

The game, available for iOS and Android devices, has Peter Griffin and friends building the city of Quahog from the ground up, completing quests and defending the town from pirates and evil chickens.

One reviewer put it this way: “It’s like SimCity met [show creator] Seth MacFarlane at a bar, and he and Quagmire [did] roofie[s]. The game is the result.”

The winner of the contest will have his or her likeness made into a playable character for the game, and will be flown to San Francisco, where they’ll receive a tour of TinyCo Animation Studios, which produced the game.

Two runner-ups will win 3,500 “Golden Clams,” the in-game currency for Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff.
