Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Seven college bands will face off to collect a $25,000 donation and the Crystal Trophy as part of a promotion for the Oct. 14 DVD and Blu-ray Disc release of Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.
Fans can go to ESPN.com to view videos of the seven marching bands performing John Williams’ iconic Indiana Jones theme, “The Raiders March.” Participating schools include the University of Southern California, the University of Georgia, the University of Florida, the University of Texas, Clemson University, Louisiana State University and Auburn University.
Paramount Home Entertainment and Lucasfilm are sponsoring the contest. Online fan voting will determine the outcome, with the top school receiving $25,000 for its band program.
Five performances will be highlighted during ESPN’s “College Football Live” program beginning Oct. 6, with the winner revealed Oct. 11 on “College Game Day.”
